Wikie 2

Wikie  the orca at Marineland Antibes. France has recently accepted an anticap law concerning cetaceans. While the four orcas still can't be released, hopefully we will see an improvement in their conditions, same goes for the dolphins. Wikie and her three tankmates will be the last generation of captive orcas in France, there will be no more shows after they pass since the breeding and trading of cetaceans is now also banned. Chlorinated water and beaching tricks are not allowed now and the pools should be made bigger. The orcas were doing beachings by themselves apparently out of boredom.

I don't want to be to inactive in summer so here goes some pictures from our trip to To Marineland Antibes. The photos are taken by my cousin.
